My name is Christin Barnhart. The 2018-2019 school year is my 7th year teaching and my 4th year at SWHS. Prior to being at SWHS, I was at FHS for 1 year teaching Geometry and Algebra 2. Before FHS I taught just outside of Charleston, South Carolina for 2 years. I was at 2 schools (at the same time) teaching English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
I graduated from UWF with a double bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Needs Education, but my calling is definitely high school math. I am currently certified in Elementary Education K-6, ESE K-12, ESOL K-12, Math 6-12, and Reading Endorsed.
This November will be 13 years that I have been married. My husband, Bryan, has been in the military for 13+ years and is also a correctional officer for Walton County. Bryan and I have 2 children, Caden and Brianna. Caden is 9 years old and Brianna is 3 years old.
